As ephemeral as a gust of wind

The Windkeeper's Beautiful Daughter

Back in 2003, in the midst of the raging controversy surrounding developer Jim Gordon's proposal to construct the nation's first offshore wind farm on Horseshoe Shoal off the coast of Cape Cod, "The Windkeeper's Beautiful Daughter" appeared in The Cape Cod Voice.

I love this musing. A copy occupies a prominent spot on my office wall. It is presented here just as it appeared in The Cape Cod Voice. There was no introduction to the graphic and no clear identification of the artist other than her/his signature in the lower right corner. As far as I know it made a one-time installment and then disappeared as mysteriously as it had appeared. I assume that was done intentionally and will honor that format.

What I particularly like about this
"graphic meditation" is the windkeeper's daughter's way of questioning if the debate over offshore wind is focused on the right questions.

If your eyes are anything like mine, you'll need to click on the graphic to enlarge it. (GW)
